Going Green

At Workforce Employment Solutions our commitment to our environment rivals our commitment to providing successful staffing solutions. That is why we created a Going Green initiative in 2009 spearheaded by the Green Team. This group of employees focuses on implementing company-wide green and energy-efficient programs that include

• Significant paper reduction by investing in a software system that allows online applications, scanning and electronic storage of all required federal and state forms, the ability to email all invoices and a service to customers that allows them to view documents online, such as previous invoices, without having to print them
• Printing our annual Wage and Benefit Survey on 100% recycled paper, which is distributed to hundreds of area companies and compiled via electronic information gathering, as opposed to paper surveys
• Participation by thousands of Workforce employees in community-wide Earth Day garden plantings and seedling donations plus involvement with local school districts--providing speakers, T-shirts and donations promoting Earth Day activities
• Internal dedication to recycling and thermostat control at all 9 Workforce locations.

We feel that every effort, no matter how big or small, makes a difference, which is why we also encourage our corporate partners to practice environmental awareness. Our Workforce is regional, but our concern is global.
