Company History

Workforce opened in 1994 in Farmington, Missouri with three employees. Since 1994, the business has grown to include five locations in eastern Missouri, including Arnold, Farmington, Ste. Genevieve, Perryville and Cape Girardeau, as well as four out-of-state locations in Chester, Illinois; Carbondale, Illinois; Winfield, Kansas and Greenville, Texas. Recognized in 1999 by INC. magazine as one of the fastest-growing privately owned companies in the country, Workforce now has more than 30 staffing specialists and serves the needs of more than 300 client companies in the region.

Opportunities for All

  • Each candidate, regardless of age, sex, color, creed, national origin, religion, ancestry or personal disabilities (handicaps), will be provided fair and equal opportunities in hiring and placement at Workforce.
  • A diverse work force is required to serve a wide range of companies' needs. This will include older adults and veterans, women and minorities, gifted young professionals as well as individuals with disabilities.
  • To maintain a work environment where men and women can work together with equal opportunities and with mutual respect, sexual harassment in any form will not be tolerated at Workforce or in placements in area companies.
  • Telling sex-oriented stories or jokes, touching in an inappropriate manner, displaying sexually explicit material, making unwelcome advances or requesting sexual favors -- whether there is any implied threat or not -- would all be considered forms of sexual harassment when they create an offensive work environment.
  • You are asked to immediately report any such occurrences to the Workforce office. Workforce will promptly investigate any report and take appropriate action.
