Each year Workforce Employment Solutions conducts a Wage and Benefit survey in Southeast Missouri. This survey is the most comprehensive compilation of information in the region. Area businesses, economic developers and chambers, as well as those companies looking to relocate to the area use it.
Workforce began conducting this annual survey, in Missouri, in 1995 and in 2005 began offering the service to the Winfield, Kansas area as well. Companies use the survey as a tool to assess current company benefits and pay scales. The comprehensive report has grown to include a broad view of wages and benefits that range from entry level to top management personnel in both service and manufacturing industries.
The 2008 survey includes extensive data from more than 100 of the top employers from 13 Missouri counties and includes data for close to 18,000 employees.
